Suzanne B. Johnson, LCSW

Education & Experience

Ms. Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Virginia University and her Master of Social Work from The Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to joining NCC, Ms. Johnson worked as a Mental Health and Family Support Coordinator for the Head Start Program in Virginia and as a Social Worker for Fairfax County Department of Human Services.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Ms. Johnson has extensive experience working with family systems and developing behavior plans with input from both parents and teachers. She has worked with multicultural youths in both the United States and South America, where she was a Peace Corps volunteer. Further, Ms. Johnson founded Get Smart with Art, a school of art for young children. She also has experience working with adolescent boys in a Juvenile Correctional Center in Virginia.

Ms. Johnson lives in Fort Collins with her husband and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming and spending time with friends and family.
