Description of Service:
Our Learning Clinic modules consist of 50 hours of intensive, one-to-one instruction provided by a Master's level instructor. Your child’s instructor will be happy discuss progress with you throughout the module. Written reviews are e-mailed to parents after sessions 15, 30, and 50. The final review will include standardized post-test scores and recommendations.
Our Techniques:
Dr. Skalicky is an educational psychologist and has researched brain development and learning for the National Institute of Health. As clinic director, he has selected engaging multi-sensory programs for use in The Learning Clinic. Published research supports the effectiveness of the techniques (e.g. Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood Bell) we will use to accelerate your child’s academic development.
Our Promise:
We believe The Learning Clinic is the most effective and individualized means to accelerate your child’s learning. Your child will gain at least 15 percentile points on his or her peer group in the academic areas we target or Learning Clinic sessions will continue at no additional cost until this gain is confirmed by post-test scores.
